I have operated across every facet of eCommerce - acquisition, retention, CRO, platform management, analytics, content, data and P&L - as a hands-on founder, and as a senior marketer at Wayflyer, a fintech powering 6,000+ DTC eCommerce brands globally. That dual vantage point - inside a brand and inside the companies funding and advising them - gives me an unmatched view of what separates high-performing stores from the rest.
Manchester United's eCommerce function needs someone who can lead specialists across every channel while remaining deeply hands-on. Led the content and marketing function at one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs, owning everything from cinematic documentary production to performance marketing and channel attribution. Built a full-funnel content engine that drove brand authority, inbound pipeline and measurable commercial impact.
Founded and bootstrapped a sports and lifestyle eyewear brand to €3M+ revenue, selling in 80+ countries - as a team of two. Owned every lever of the eCommerce operation end-to-end, from acquisition and CRO to margin management, retail partnerships and international expansion.
Installed as Interim Head of Marketing at Wayflyer - a fintech serving 6,000+ DTC eCommerce brands - following a major restructure, rebuilding the team and function from the ground up. Drove the marketing recovery during a pivotal growth period, with unparalleled exposure to what makes elite eCommerce businesses perform.
Identified and developed new revenue-generating product opportunities within Wayflyer, designed specifically for eCommerce founders. Took concepts from ideation through to live GTM campaigns, validating and scaling the most promising propositions.
Co-founded an online lens replacement service, holding 40% equity and full ownership of the marketing function. Exited in 2021, selling the stake to a partner.
Delivered SEO strategy for a portfolio of major Irish and UK brands at one of Ireland's leading digital agencies. The foundation of a career built on data-driven digital marketing and understanding how audiences find and convert online.
